Hopefully I have passed this limit by now after almost five decades of
photographic activity - sometimes more, sometimes less vigorous.

Born in Berlin and now having lived in Hamburg since more than 30 years I find my photographic subjects mostly in the city. Architecture and abstract structures are among my favourite subjects. But I am also interested to see how people fit in with the urban environment. Maybe as a counterpoint to the life in the city I am also very much attracted by the natural beauty of the far north. I guess my training as a physicist shows up in my photos through a preference for clean structure and clear composition.
